The infamous Bushwood Country Club was first introduced to us with the theatrical release of Caddyshack on July 25, 1980. To commemorate the 30-year anniversary of quoting Bill Murray lines from Caddyshack, PGATour.com checked up on the current status of Bushwood Country Club.

While the fictional club was spawned from writer Brian Doyle-Murray’s days as a caddie during his youth at Indian Hill Club in Winnetka, Ill., Bushwood is actually Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie, Fla.

For the past few Fridays, Charlie (The older George Clooney lookalike from the range) and myself (Jason, the younger dapper gent) have been teeing off at different courses around town. The matches are usually pretty close but Charlie, who plays quite regularly, has been struggling to find some touch lately against my mate and I who very rarely play.

I thought I would now take this opportunity to lay up some excuses he can use next time he’s out on the course, if he hasn’t used them already.

Over the holiday period we tend to get a few younger crew on school holidays with a bit too much free time on their hands. Maybe a sign like this around the range would deter any young Danny Ocean wannabies

Charlie, myself and a few friends managed to slip in a quick round of golf and the beautiful Kwinana golf course on friday afternoon. The fifth hole (dog leg right over the water and trees) proved to be a little difficult for ol mate Charlie, providing us with a bit of humour as we watched him take 4 shots from within 10m around the green to finally land on.

The latest chapter in the scandals of everyones favourite superstar golfer appears to be getting a screen adaptation if ninemsn's reports prove true.

"Tiger's wood" is the title of the new porn movie that has already been scripted and is now in the process of auditioning its stars.
With Tiger announcing his indefinate departure from the game, resulting in a lot of spare time, would it be too much of a stretch for the man himself to maybe put his hand up for the leading role?
He could be a natural.
He's played many front and back 9's, is good with his one wood with regular flexes, scored a few hole in ones plus a flock of birdies and the amount of balls he would have played with over his career would be countless......  Read more »
